Light Touch™
is an interactive projector that instantly transforms any flat surface into a touch screen.
WirelessHD™
Version 2.0, should allow a transmission rate for home cinema up to 28 Gbps, support HDCP 2.0, be adapted for 3D TV and support resolutions up to 4K, which is four times beyond the resolution of 1080p, and actually used in movie theatres. The standard WirelessHD operates in the frequency range of 60 GHz, and is able to cover short distances with very high transmission rates.
In the future, Internet access should also be possible over WirelessHD. In addition to DTCP, both the current and future versions of WirelessHD will include support for HDCP 2.0 content protection. The devices of the new WirelessHD generation will be backward compatible to those products using WirelessHD 1.0, in order to allow connection with existing devices of the first generation.
There are 50 companies behind the WirelessHD Consortium; among them Broadcom, Intel, LG, Panasonic, Philips, NEC, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba.
The WirelessHD Consortium hasn't communicated yet about the availability of the first WirelessHD 2.0 devices.
