Standards could ease connections!

The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is a collaborative alliance established by Sony and Intel in 2003 (as DHWG), and renamed DLNA one year later. Today the DLNA has more than 250 members from 20 countries in the mobile, consumer electronics, PC, and service provider industries. Among them, we find Cisco, Ericsson, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, Panasonic, Philips, Samsung, Sharp und Toshiba. 

The goal of this alliance is to define common standards for the interoperability between entertainment devices, computers/peripherals and mobile devices of various brands.
