The ideal viewpoint for a standard NTSC television image is calculated by the formula 5×Image height. Traditionally image format had a proportion of 4:3. With the arrival of the new 16:9 format, the image height, just as the technical lines of resolution remained the same, this the calculation remained also at 5×Image height!
